Seminar - The End of Globalization: The New World Order

Historically speaking, we have lived in an unusual period of peace and global trade for the past 75 Years. This world order was created post-WWII—and it is coming to an end. This lecture will explore the causes and the benefits of globalization and expose the tectonic shifts in world geopolitics that is causing the shift. What lies ahead? And what can we expect in the new world order? This data-filled lecture will outline the case for (and the consequences of) the end of globalization. It will outline the role the United States will play, the role China has played, and how are the two powers expected to react going forward.

Speaker Bio

Naeem Zafar is a Dean’s Teaching Fellow and a member of the faculty at the University of California Berkeley, and Professor of the Practice at Northeastern. He has taught entrepreneurship (ENGIN 1010) at Brown University and history at the Santa Clara University. He teaches courses in Entrepreneurship, Technology Strategy, Innovation and New Venture Finance. Naeem is 7X entrepreneur and 5X CEO with multiple exits and has authored five books on entrepreneurship.
