Please join the Brown Club of Silicon Valley for a day at the Beach in Capitola - hosted by Julian Baring ‘97 and family.
Julian will set-up an area from 9am on July 13th and we will be there through early afternoon. We will try to secure an area close to the black square on the map below, on the beach but in front of the public restrooms and the band-stand off the Esplanade (opposite end of the beach from the picturesque houses in the photo above).
Traffic on the infamous Route 17 and also Route 1 can be challenging during summer beach traffic - so pro-tip: “best to arrive early and leave before too late.”
Parking advice would be to park in the 12 hour metered parking areas pictured below. It is a short approx. 5 minute stroll down to the beach from the “Beach and Village Parking Areas” - highlighted in red below.
